Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches about garden layout, plant forms, materials, garden history and seasonal observation. Proposals should suit a curious general reader and offer a clear, distinct idea rather than a broad survey.
What makes a good pitch
Tell us the subject, the central question and what a reader will understand or notice by the end. Explain why the idea fits Curious Garden Guide and how you would treat it with care. A strong pitch has a clear angle, useful context and a scope that can be handled in one article.
Suitable contributions
We consider explanatory pieces, comparisons, histories, observations and focused guides to a particular garden situation or season. We are interested in original writing that avoids unsupported claims, inflated promises and a one-size-fits-all approach. Please flag any relevant commercial interests or other connections.
Send a proposal
Proposals are sent through the Contact page. Choose the editorial question option, include a brief outline and a short note about your relevant experience or perspective. Please send a pitch rather than a completed article unless we have asked for one; we cannot promise publication.
