Editorial policy
Curious Garden Guide aims to publish clear, considered writing about garden design and observation. Our editorial choices put accuracy, useful context and transparent relationships ahead of sweeping claims.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable sources and review articles for clear wording and context. Where a subject has meaningful limits or exceptions, we aim to say so rather than turn a general observation into a universal rule. Our articles are editorial information, not a substitute for specialist advice or local requirements.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. A partner does not receive a promise of favourable coverage or control over independent editorial work. Any paid, gifted or otherwise partner-supported material is identified clearly as such, so readers can distinguish it from independent coverage.
Corrections
If a reader spots a factual error or an unclear passage, they can send the details through the Contact page. We review correction requests and update material when a change is warranted. Where an important correction changes the meaning of a published article, we aim to make that change clear to readers.
Illustrations and AI
Illustrations may be used to explain or accompany an article, and some illustrations are AI-generated. They are not presented as documentary photographs or proof of a real garden, plant or event. We aim to make an illustration's role clear when it could otherwise be mistaken for a factual record.
